so gratifying having you along for the journey to create the
Focus Timer. It was filled with a few
twists and turns, but the challenge is part of what made it enjoyable... especially with the
support of awesome backers like
you!
Surveys have been sent out to
all reward tiers and we've
sent timers out to those completed them. If you didn't receive your survey for some reason, it's
most likely because of an Apple ID login issue. In that case, please write to
[email protected] with your
backer number or name and we'll get the survey out to you again.
By the way, travel much? If you do, you'll love the next Kickstarter I'm running now:

Shipping Ramping Up!

Hi Kickstarters!
Last week we prepared and shipped 500 timers, which makes the project about 50% fulfilled.
I just sent out the tracking information for both the 500 shipped last Friday as well as the batch that's ready to go out tomorrow. So if your tracking says "Label Created" then check back on Monday or so.
We’re aiming to process the rest of them by the end of the month.
By now everyone should have received their survey. If not, it’s likely because you use your Apple ID to sign in to Kickstarter so you don’t receive the emails.
if you haven’t received the survey simply write to
[email protected] from your preferred email address and
include your backer number or backer ID. This process has been very smooth so far for those who have updated theirs. Thanks for working through that kink in the system together!

All Timers Complete! Survey Details Inside

Hey Kickstarters! Exciting news! All of the timers are complete and have arrived at my studio!
This is a bit earlier than I indicated in
my last update but they were able to ramp up production and assembly smoothly.
So I’m starting the ball rolling to ship out ALL remaining rewards. Please take a moment to read the rest of the update to ensure your timer gets to you as quickly as possible. In particular, there are a couple of little Apple ID things I’ll need you to help troubleshoot…
I've been thrilled by the additional reviews that have come in from those receiving the timers from Batch 2:

During the survey process you’ll have the chance to add extra timers at a special Kickstarter price. There’s no additional shipping charge for domestic add-ons and a small charge for international.
You should have received a survey within the last 30 minutes or so from BackerKit with the subject:
"Response Needed — Get your reward for Focus Timer® Adjustable Hourglass"
Please complete them by Wednesday Feb 7th. We won't be able to ship them all at once but we'll ship a batch each week as we process them and you'll receive a notification when yours goes out. I think we should be able to get through all of them by the end of the month.
Fixing Apple Relay Emails
If you didn’t receive a survey email, you are most likely using Apple ID to sign in to Kickstarter and our survey software can’t reach you.
Have no fear!
We can fix it. Just send an email from the best account for you to
[email protected] and we'll update it.
Sorry it’s a bit complicated but this is Apple relay email thing is a new wrinkle that I haven’t faced in my 5 other campaigns. We’ll work our way through it and make sure you get your rewards!

Batch 2 Shipping!

Hi Kickstarters!
Good news- Our next batch is complete and arrived at my studio!
This will take us through backer 1000 so those folks have already received surveys. If all goes well I should be able to include everyone else in the following batch.
As you'll recall, our
prior batch of 50 timers went out to backers and it's been
great to see the feedback start to come in! Here's one of my favorites:
As usual, you've done an incredible job with a great product and great management of a crowdfunding campaign. Also, the thing is BEAUTIFUL, especially when lit up.

Those initial shipments also served as a test for our shipping methods and they seem to be working smoothly. I just received word from a backer who received theirs safe and sound in Australia!
Which Batch Am I In?
If you didn't receive an email directly from me last week with survey details and a survey link from BackerKit (including a reminder this morning), you're most likely higher than backer 1000. Or you can also
find it on Kickstarter by logging in and going to your list of backed projects.
Batch 3 Plans
If you're not in Batch 2 I'm sure you're wondering when yours will be finished! Since things are going well, we're ramping up production and doing a larger batch for the next round. Once complete, that will take care of ALL outstanding rewards.
I'm anticipating 6-8 weeks for that process so we're looking at March for the timeframe. But if any timers are assembled and ready, we may be able to do a partial shipment of those a bit earlier.
It's awesome to start seeing the timers flow to backers and I can't wait to have more folks put them to use!
