Thank you all so much for supporting this project! I've been thrilled by the response... thanks to Kickstarter backers, it was funded in just a few hours.
It's been a long journey to get to this point and this is definitely a wonderful milestone!
Next Steps:
Now that the project is funded, I'll be kicking off the process of getting it made. The goal of this project in terms of development was to take it as far as I could on my own to reduce the risk to backers. So I'll be working with the factory to produce this initial batch and get it into the hands of backers as soon as possible.
There are three elements to production that happen somewhat in parallel but have interdependencies:
- Plastics
- Electronics
- Software
Meanwhile, additional elements such as packaging need to be finalized and executed on so I'll be pushing those forward as well.
If you haven't yet backed the project, I'd love to have your support!While it may seem like we're well underway, we actually haven't covered the mold and development costs yet- I'm covering that gap out of my own pocket because I believe in the product.
